Our unique Fire Safety Management service provides an easy way for you to comply with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. We will work with you to set up your system for compliance for a single annual fee with our input to include the following:
Fire Safety Management for Owners/Managing Agents of Multi-occupancy Buildings:
Prepare a Policy on Fire Safety Management.
Survey the building by the Risk Assessment process and produce a report identifying all areas where improvements are required. Our checks within the risk assessment include
Checking all service contracts are in place & being carried out by contractors
Check fire log book to make sure correct entries are being made.
Check the means of escape are adequate with appropriate protection
Check that the fire warning and detection arrangements are adequate
Check that higher risk areas such as plant rooms are correctly enclosed in fire-resisting construction
Check that sufficient fire appliances of the correct type are in position
Check that suitable signs and notices are in position to aid escape and Fire Safety Management
A compliance survey of all occupiers’ premises in the building
Consult on matters of fire safety with the responsible persons from the occupiers’ premises – co-operation and co-ordination.
Update drawings of the building to set on CAD for recording the fire safety provisions in the building; Also for the base of a Fire Safety Manual, which we consider necessary for all buildings as best practice.
Notify all occupiers of deficiencies within their premises & encourage them to carry out reasonable remedial works without delay
Prepare a Fire Emergency Plan with ongoing review and revision as required.
Prepare specification and quotation for works required to the common parts & liaise with the Client for approval.
Write to all occupiers to formally notify the responsible person of the reasonable improvements necessary for compliance
Set drawings on CAD to show the fire safety provisions.
Prepare a Fire Emergency Plan for the building and issue copy to all occupiers
Organise Fire Evacuation Drills at six monthly intervals
Organise brief fire training for Fire Wardens at time of fire drills
When a fire officer gives notice of attendance to survey the building or review any particular fire safety element, a Consultant will attend the building to accompany the fire officer and fully advise him on the Fire Safety Management provided.
Act as Expert Witness in the unlikely event of a Prosecution by the fire and rescue authority
Provide a telephone help-line with day-to-day assistance on matters of fire safety
Assist our Client to improve the building asset value.

Notify the responsible person of contraventions within their premises, discuss them & encourage them to carry out remedial works without delay
Obtain the information necessary for the preparation of a Fire Emergency Plan, or for updating the existing Fire Emergency Plan.
· Write to the occupier to formally notify the responsible person of the reasonable improvements necessary for compliance. Give a time scale considered reasonable for completion.
· Set drawings on CAD to show the fire safety provisions
· Prepare a Fire Emergency Plan for the premises; update if existing
· Organise fire training for Fire Wardens and other control personnel. Prepare a fire safety training schedule for all employees.
· When a fire officer gives notice of attendance to survey the premises or review any particular fire safety element, a Consultant will attend the premises to accompany the fire officer and fully advise him on the Fire Safety Management provided.
