Manual handling is one of the most common causes of injury at work: over a third of all workplace injuries including Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) such as upper and lower limb pain/disorders, joint and repetitive strain injuries. Basic manual handling training course which will provide delegates with foundation knowledge and give practical advice on lifting techniques

It replaced previous legislation (such as the Race Relations Act 1976 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995) and ensures consistency in what employers and employees need to do to make their workplaces a fair environment and comply with the law 
 
Hazardous substances can affect anyone within the workplace, not just those who handle them regularly. COSHH Risk Assessment will identify the hazards, decide who might be harmed and how, evaluate the risks, substance substitution, principles of good control , hierarchy of control measures, work processes and equipment, personal protective equipment, safe systems of work and the provision of first aid 
 
Advice for all parties involved in new buildings and extension to existing premises. The Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 outlines the requirements for all duty holders and how each duty holder interacts with the others.
